3 things that are overlooked when it
comes to Weight Loss

Most programs focus only on the surface. We dive deep into the biological mechanics
that actually drive lasting change.

1. The β€œLong” Calorie Deficit

Anyone can get into a calorie deficit short-term (just take a look at all the extreme measures out there!). The real challenge is how do we stay in a Calorie Deficit, long term? This question requires studying both the physical (hunger) and how the mind (mental hunger) affect weight loss.

You may have tried restricting yourself to a meal plan, eating only very healthy foods day & night. This may have also included exercising in extreme bursts, hoping the sweat will lead to weight loss. In our culture, cutting out rice is the favourite method (more like cutting out the joy). Oh and cutting out the ever so essential desserts as well. While these extreme methods and cutting out sugar may have resulted in some weight loss short-term, sustaining it long term means sacrificing our lifestyles and eventually, sacrificing our happiness.

It’s because of this key reason that 93% of people rebound & gain back all their weight. Mainly because theyΒ  go back to their β€˜old habits’ after their short-term, extreme calorie deficits. 2. Elimination Pathways

If our Elimination Pathways are not functioning optimally, weight loss will be stalled even if we are on a Calorie Deficit. Our maximum potential of weight loss is severely reduced. Not good news especially because weight loss is normally stressful.

To simplify it, what we mean here is your daily urination and bowel movements (poop). These need to be regular (poop) and very frequent (urine) daily in order to maximize weight loss.

But if you’re like us, you must be so tired of the advice β€œjust drink more water”. Sometimes, it’s not so easy. It’s tough to keep on urinating while working in an office. Especially if you’re a woman (men, you have this so easy!). Plus, cleanliness of certain toilets when out is a big factor too. The people that preach β€œjust drink more water”, may also not understand the bloating that comes with it. Very uncomfortable.

3. Intestinal Baggage
